He's an average coach. The loss of Billups really affected this team and might could have saved his job.

I could be remembering this wrong, but one year VDN as coach of the Bulls, he had his name on the hot seat. And then he ended up making it to the playoffs despite being out of it at the time of the rumors. Totally different situation here, but it seems like VDN has a short leash.

Clippers could use a better coach. They only run simple pick n roll sets and have a suspect bench. As good as Cp3 and Blake are, that aint gone cut it come playoff time.
