Humans have so thoroughly spread out and conquered the Earth that I have a hard time believing anything could completely wipe out the entire race. Even a global nuclear war would have a tough time killing enough people to make humanity extinct (though I bet we could if we try hard). I would say we eventually settle on alien worlds or at the very least start up self-sufficient colonies in space, which would IMO more or less ensure the continuation of the race in some form, though its possible a massive war/ other mass mass extinction event on an epic scale pushes us back into the stone age

I think first, people will rise up against their goverments and revolt. Sooner or later the masses will get tired of countries being run by peole who have their own agenda rather than, the agenda of the people.

Then the religous wars will begin!

I figure that the Catholics and Prostestants will side up. Though, Prostestants have always had trouble with the Pope being the leader of the church.

Hard to say who will side with whom.
