He's better than Brayton..............

Then again Brayton is depth who just so happens to be starting.

Brayton is above average at playing the run though, which is probably why he does start.

If we are looking to pick up a guy like Burgess (starter quality DE) then I feel like the Panthers are actively looking for a trade with Peppers. That is the only way it makes sense for us to even think about a trade for a player like Burgess.

If we got Burgess, he would be starting. Had an off year last year due to injury and is 1 yr older than Peppers. Look at the 3 years before '08. 8 sacks, 11 sacks, 18 sacks...
