What Will Be The Next Fa Move?

We might wait until after the draft for any significant signings. Maybe restructure or sign a few more of our own. If the big names are gone then players will feel more pressure as time goes along. Plus when the 200 players are drafted, there will be more veteran cuts putting more folks on the market. No need to jump in there unless we can get a good deal. It is a buyers market right now.

Someone just asked Steve Reed on twitter for a Jason Brown update. He said "that ship has sailed". I'm guessing he's not coming here.

Not for the pennies that Hurney offered him. If he wants an OL for that cheap, he should have just waited for the draft instead of wasting someone's time. Everyone's time in fact. The offer must have been a complete joke lol

Rams clearly knew more than we did when they cut him, especially after giving him such a huge contract only a few years before. I feel bad for the guy. After reading that article on him i'm not surprised.

He probably offered him 500k and a $5 footlong.

As high as our defensive needs are, what about our current o-line?

I dont see them doing too much more until after the draft, when we will know where the holes are.

What holes?

The only position I am worried about is the Will Backer. I want Davis back. But I would draft a replacement.

Hogan was a 2nd round talent, issues pushed him to the 4th, not a lack of talent. So Capt goes to slot.

Edwards is solid, and we have a ton of youth we have to develop. So I do not see us drafting any DL. Or at least not one of the first two.

O-line is solid, it just needs to be sorted out.

All in all, I am pretty sure Rivera likes where he is. Considering whence he started. He is able to draft for talent not need. Never would have saw that coming so soon after how the D finished.

Ah, good times. And GOOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a difference between optimism and delusion. You need help.

the intial wild spending period for the top few FAs has been over for awhile now. teams are scooping up quality players at cheap deals left and right while we sit on the sidelines doing nothing.

this really is the best time to go after FAs although it seems like our FO still hasn't figured that out yet. look at the Patriots, they've added elleven players, all at cheap deals.

we have WAY too many holes to try and fill them all in the draft. We need 5-6 starters and you're most likely only going to get 1-2 in the draft, at least when you're talking about guys that can start right away.

would love to see some movement here but looks like we're stuck waiting for the draft and filling the roster with UDFAs and other teams cuts, hoping we hit some diamonds in the rough and other guys "develop".
