Saints Fan Silliness

Someone also suggested Payton or Benson sue the NFL

The tinfoil hats are wrapped extra tight over there right now.

I guess if there was an NFL conspiracy to keep us from being the first team to ever win a Super Bowl in their home stadium I'd be decked out in my foil hat too. I mean clearly this is all a fabrication by the NFL to sabotage the unstoppable juggernaut (which I understand from SR will put up even MORE points this year...because fug the NFL).

I read that somewhere....

I will say this. If the NFL wanted to deter this kind of activity, I think they've made the right move.

Per Jay Glazer,Sean Payton stands to lose 8 millions dollars over this, 8 million dollars. If I'm the coach of another NFL team right now, I look at that figure, decide I don't want to see that kind of cash flying out of my pocket, and take steps to make darn well sure nothing of this sort is going on with my team.

By the way, the "Drive" guys on WFNZ were arguing that this was excessive and aslking how the league could rightly "keep Payton from providing for his family." They whined enough about it to be honorary Saint fans

Callers pointed out to them that Payton is hardly hurting for cash, and QCB (of all people) clarified that what Payton was part of could very easily cost guys that make less than him the ability to feed their families.

Possible they were just being idiots. If so, they did a fantastic job of it

Their show is alright, but their opinions are fuggin retarded.

Marc James is super stupid.

And I am not even the type of person to blast everyone in the media.

Mac Attack in the morning is the opposite, the show is a little too silly, but I feel like Mac is a pretty sharp guy.

I wish Gantt had a cooler voice, he would be awesome personality on the local radio.

Who cares about "the drive", they are paid to piss off people for ratings. They are stupid on purpose and you all just eat that poo up. Stop listening to the show if you know it sucks.

Get SiriusXM, it is MILES better than every show they have except for the Mac Attk.

Yeah, the local guys in Burlington VT, were saying it's excessive until several calls came in pointing out that if Brady had been taken out they'd both be calling for the Saints to be disbanded.

I gotta admit, the only thing my drinking buddies came up with that was worse than what happened ( well, that we felt actually had a plausible chance of happening) was a "cap fine". Basically, the NFL would hit them with $1mil against their cap for every player, coach, & staff member involved for 3 years.

Eta: & now I can't quote with my phone...
