Do you attend every practice? Because that's where the issue is decided. If they can't beat out Delhomme in practice they aren't going to get on the field. It's really a simple concept, been that way since the beginning...

Foster over Dwill, Hackett over Jarrett just to name a few I wish Fox wouldn't hold so much weight in vets over younger guys. I honesty think Moore could do what Jake does & more (spreading the ball around) I'd like to see him more with the first team.

I like Moore too, no problem with that. Did D'will beat Foster out in practice, Jarrett beat out Hackett? I doubt that that's true or we would have had different players in the game. I don't buy into this loyalty poo you guys keep insisting on, that's just bullshit. Fox is gonna go with who he feels is the best option to get a win on Sunday, period and that's proved in the week leading up to the game, period. Anything else is just craziness...

No because I think McCown or Moore could step in and do better.

They'll get a shot to prove themselves in TC, but as of now Jake easily has them beat out as our best option. Doesn't mean things won't change if Jake starts to struggle during the season, but we have those guys available regardless.

Again, were you there for every practice, evaluating the players? No, you were there on Sunday, judging in hindsite without seeing one player play at all but assuming he was the better man, (and it turned out he was). Don't blame the coaches that they felt they had the better player out on the field in time while you get to sit around and a year later say that they are full of poo. That's just crazy...

And thats my only problem with the guy. I think he is one of the best coaches in football but sometimes I think he uses heart more then his head.

I agree, we kept Foster as our #1 for way too long. If Moore looks amazing in TC/PS and Jake stinks it up for the first few games, then you have a valid reason to want a change. But right now, it's not a hard decision. Moore looked terrible in preseason last year and McCown is the typical journeyman backup and a guy who couldn't even make the Dolphins roster as a backup.

If Jake had sucked so bad in his "rookie" preseason, why would Fox put him in the Jacksonville game over another QB that had been there and a veteran who had been sucking the first half. Oh come on did you watch that game, the whole team look flat and stale, they needed a spark. Fox saw a guy with a fiery attitude and good leader and said "Well we are down by 17 at half, lets give this guy a shot." And it worked out great for us till now. But just like how Pete's game had gotten stale so has Jake's. When your a one trick pony (deep to Smith) it doesn't take long for D's to learn how to stop you.
