Pat White will be the Panthers Swiss Army Knife.

Peppers. Dont come back with his tender not signed if your bringing up better options he was the better option.

Well Denver wanted more (and got it) than what Peppers value is, assuming he's being compared to the Jared Allen deal. Basically you're looking at Peppers AND our 2nd this year, or possibly 1st next year. Maybe even both depending on how they value Peppers and the contract he brings.

And we leave the weakest part of our team (DLine) even worse off and give up the picks we need to do anything about it. All this, to upgrade the QB on a run-first team that already has a weaker defense than offense.

You're saying this is a good idea?

I am sure there were talks between the Broncos and us (well Peps agent), I guess they just liked the bears offer better. Can't blame them 2 1st and didnt they get a 2nd too.

Yeah they got a great deal form the Bears. Anyway thsi a Pat white thread. I think I will change the team I support to whoever drafts him.

Jason Campbell wants to be traded too. That would be a better option than Jake.

He's an option, one of the very few viable options for us. Pat White is another option. I'm not sure either of these guys are worth the 2nd rounder we'd have to use to get them, considering they don't know our system and look like marginal upgrades at best. At least that's debatable anyway.

Please don't bring up Cutler though. The Bears grossly overpaid for this guy and for us to get him, we'd have to overpay even more.

Honestly White is not a good option this year. He needs sometime to learn.

I'd love to draft White and finally have some competition at the QB spot w/ Jake, Moore & Pat. Pat has a ton of upside too if we don't get a first & he falls lets just make a statement by getting an potential impact player.

Although I want to draft White, I can almost assure you there will be no real competion for the QB spot. It is Jake's and his new deal proves it. I'm sorry but I just can't respect the FO for tying us to a mediocre QB for 5 more years.

No because I think McCown or Moore could step in and do better.

Do you attend every practice? Because that's where the issue is decided. If they can't beat out Delhomme in practice they aren't going to get on the field. It's really a simple concept, been that way since the beginning...
