Ny Jets Trade?

If you really want to get into the trade down business, and I think it is a good thing in our case, you should be prepared to take next year's picks as the secondary compensation. People do not know what their needs will be and like to buy on credit, so to speak. In addition, you get a round better pick. A third rounder becomes a second, etc.

If we do not like the choices vs. value at 9, then trade back and switch places with the Jets for their second rounder in 2013 and their third rounder this year.

I think that is the best way to "Build through the draft."

if he is good enough for Rex(former DC) why wouldnt he be for Ron.

Gives us more picks and to fill some NEEDS on this team. We could take Janoris Jenkins at No.16, a CB and DT in the second. Get some depth with the fourth for the o-line.

I dunno uni...every coach has their own taste in defensive players.

If we get an extra second rounder, we could still be looking at a handful of nice prospects in Cox, Barron, Perry, DeCastro, etc. depending on who falls and such. Knowing Hurney...I just wouldn't count a trade out, expecially with the Jets...we're used to working with them

It'd be pretty stupid to pass on a defensive position of need when a guy like Rex Ryan thinks he's a player. If Coples is there then we'd be stupid not to take him IMO.

Would you have rather had Darelle Revis? or Jon Beason and Ryan Kalil two players that have been to multiple pro-bowls, and have been selected for multiple all-pros?
