crawling back? are you serious. Applewhite isn't delusional about his worth. He's just taking a chance in FA and seeing if he can get lucky. If he doesn't, he'll come back. crawling back? dramatic much? You make it seem as if he's a scumbag for trying to get a bigger contract.

Yeah I liked Applewhite but like him I don't know much about Tucker. Are we replacing Applewhite with Tucker? and we didn't use Norwood much so I was expecting him to be cut. Maybe we can replace Norwood with Applewhite...

I don't know how we don't re-sign him. Applewhite is a versatile player who can play many positions. I have heard the guy; he has a very high football intelllect and approaches the game analytically. His cerebral approach to the game more than makes up for whatever deficit that he may have in reference to some who may have superior physical skills (IMO).

We don't have Applewhite signed and we still let Senn and Connor walk. Those two are little boys compared to Applewhite. Applewhite and Tucker are the size of LB that Rivera wants in his system. I don't doubt that we're waiting patiently for Applewhite to call us back. I do think it's funny though that we'd rather have uncertainty at the linebacker position than have players that don't fit in Rivera's scheme. This is the complete opposite of a Fox defense.
