Would You Trade #9 + Stewart To Denver For...

That's what I was thinking Mav. No way they trade Miller and no way I would give up our first rounder, plus a player who was a former first rounder for another player.

Miller is awesome, but how do we know Kuechly wouldn't offer similar production if we take him in the first?

If we traded one of our RBs to Foxy, we better get an early pick back... I'm pretty sure most teams wouldn't give up a first for a RB nowadays, but perhaps a 2nd or 3rd is possible. And I still wouldn't want to give up Stew for a 3rd.

I don't think Kuechly is the same player as Miller by any means, even if I am very impressed by him and wouldn't mind him being a Panther (not 100% sure I would take him at 9 but tbh I haven't followed the draft as much this year).

Fox isn't making all the personnel decisions or maybe we could get a 2nd for Stew. As it is, we'd be lucky to get a third I think with the way teams find RBs all over.

Exactly.

And no, Kuechly isn't quite the athlete Miller is, but he's no slouch either. I see a lot of the same explosion though and closing speed on the field. I don't think they'll necessarily produce the same way, but the stats may pan out similarly. So, I'd rather take a chance with our pick than not have one in the first at all.

And I think this trade is even harder to pull for the same reasons... RB is one of the easiest positions to fill over recent years through the draft and LB is much easier to address than say DT or WR. So, not enough value for either side IMO.
