Sadly, we can't. There's a rule in NFL now that a field can't be a different color than NFL approved green. :( No Boise State-esque blue field for us.

Let's black the whole damn stadium out. Black seats - require black shirts on the fans - black walls - matte black benches....

It kills the grass, that's why we haven't ever had black endzones but for a game or two at a time, and that's usually to cover up from some event a couple days prior to game day.

Yeah, until we go to field turf the endzones will stay mostly green. JR is old school so that probably won't change for a few more years.

I wouldn't be suprised if he brings his son back into the fold in the next few years. I'm pretty sure he wants to keep it in the family and hopefuly they'll have gotten their sh*t together by now.
