Mike Tolbert mentioned as a possible FA? Eh?

The Stewart trade makes sense, even though I don't want to see him go, it will be hell to try and pay him and DWill, because that will put us even further in cap trouble, also Josh Vaughn IMO is another power back that has been on the bench waiting his turn, I believe it was the Bucs game, he came in and was trucking fools late in the game, but i know it was the Bucs, but still, Im pretty sure Vaughn and Williams will continue the double trouble.

After this year Williams will be 30....

It makes more sense to cut Williams when you pay Stewart. Stewart will still be young.

You won't get a first for Stewart. he will require a fat contract....a team wanting a RB can just use that first round pick on a RB and pay him peanuts.

It all goes back to the Williams deal....if you part with a RB. Williams will be the guy to part with. Getting rid of Stewart would be continuing poor management of our backfield.

Fox wants bigger back

Good landing place for Stewart?

Sounds like a good landing spot for Tolbert.

Everyone agrees that we are cash strapped? Is that not a sign we are pretty much who we are?

Everyone agrees that we need an influx of talent. But upgrades have passed us by. Is this not yet another sign we are who we are?

The last two guys we did sign were bsically STs studs. We improved, Another sign of, you guessed it, we are who we are.

It is also agreed that counting on certain injured players to play at preceived levels is fools gold. But here we go. Trying to do the unlikely.

It is pretty much agreed that Stew is worth a 1st. What is not agreed upon is his inherent value to the Panthers. If he stays, we are who we are.

We are pretty much going to live or die with who can or cannot play. So all you Debbie downers better start throwing out good vibes. Because, you guessed it.

WE ARE WHO WE ARE.

Cheer up. There are options "aplenty". Which makes this time of year so special. There are so many options that fans like us have almost unlimited material from which to choose.

Got carried away, live with it. And GOOOOO C@@@@@@@@@@@@@ S

I just thought of something. Does anyone remember when Rivera said we needed a scat back? Does anyone think this is the back he was refering to?

I can't see how. Stewart and Goodson both seemed like one cut kinda guys. Williams even seems to lost a lot of his cutback ability or maybe that's because we ran to the outside so much more he didn't have the chance to. Maybe Rivera is looking for a cutback runner.

I can't see how Tolbert fits into the "Scatback" kind of role.
