Mike Tolbert mentioned as a possible FA? Eh?

The thing about Stewart is that what ever team may want him, they will have to extend him with big money right after the trade. Which, decreases his value.

I wouldn't discredit the notion of trading D-will. I understand his contract could be an issue, but a big portion has been paid, and since the contract is front-loaded it could be enough to make him a possibility.

I really like Stew, if we dont get a 2nd, then I dont wanna do it.

Per Rotoworld and Steve Reed

Free agent Mike Tolbert's agent has refused comment on whether or not his client is being targeted by the Panthers.

Typically agents, especially for players of Tolbert's relatively minor stature, are loose with details, but it's possible the Panthers are asking for discretion this offseason. The Panthers lack a true battering ram in the running game, but it's hard to see where Tolbert would fit in on a team that already features the solid trio of DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart and Mike Goodson. The Union-Tribune San Diego reported Saturday the 49ers are also in the mix for Tolbert.

I know some of you don't like PFT. But I found this very interesting.

Tolbert is a valuable role player and will be playing football during the upcoming season, but his market isn’t very hot right now.

So would that mean we could actually snag him later on for dirt cheap? That's if another team doesn't of course.

All FA RB's are dirt cheap at the moment and getting cheaper each day, THAT is why you don't pay two guys megabucks

Really? I consider Cam a more solid part of that trio than Goodson.
