Yeah that would be great. We need a 10 million dollar increased cap hit because his remaining signing bonus would escalate if he were traded. So we would lose more than we save on his salary and still have to pay Tolbert and the scatback.

Bargains these day are 3 million a year. Hilllis just got signed for that after rushing for 500 yards last year and is trying to resurrect his career. Is that a bargain for a guy like Tolbert who averages 3 yards a carry and is only good for third and short when we have quarterback who is more effective thhan that.

I would agree that the only scenario that makes sense would be to trade Stewart. Are we afraid we can't sign him long term or he doesn't want to be here.
