Look at the contract numbers given to some of the players so far in free agency. It's absolutely ludicrous and you know that. There's absolutely no reason to overpay for a player when the draft is right around the corner and plenty of players will still be available all the way until training camp.

I think madden is boring sometimes, but I'd actually like for us to at least sign some players like Garay, Manny Lawson, or Early Doucet. They're 2nd-4th tier guys, not big bucks free agents who could be major upgrades for us. I dont need a huge player.

Teams like Pats and Steelers are good teams already who doesn't need to go into FA. And we they need to, they do. Remember the Pats signing Moss, Welker, and Adalius Thomas. Steelers are pretty much always over the cap.
