if you have to gimp yourself on pc games by using a controller, go get a 360 wired. best bang for your buck

Its just general discussion. I use the keyboard/mouse. Just wanted to see what other people use and how it works for them.

I use a wired 360 if I use a controller. I'm getting more comfortable with keyboards though, custom mapping helps a lot. I own a joystick but I don't think it works on win7. Only used it for bf2. Feels awkward for nonflying games.

If you're going to use a controller why even play on the PC? It has its applications but it sounds like you were excluding keyboard/mouse which is a "sign."

FPS? Keyboard and Mouse.

RTS? Same.

DotA? Same (obviously)

MMO? Same.

Only exception is blatant console ports and certain games that just work way better with a wired 360 controller such as sports games (NBA 2k11?) GTA and some third person shooters.

Keyboard and mouse except for flight and driving simulators....

Use a Logitech, dont remember the model had it for some time, for flight simulators

use my xbox 360 wheel for driving.

not many games like that on the PC like that
