The Claiborne Watch

To me the Minnesota Vikings pose the biggest threat to take him at #3.

#3 Minnesota - Claiborne/Blackmon (reports they aren't impressed with Kalil) Their pass d was ranked one of the worst. Overpaid Carlson a TE. Need more weapons.

#4 Browns - Kalil They have Joe Hayden but have a need for a #2. Good draft for CBs though.

#5 Bucs - Trent Richardson I could also see them trading back to stock pile. Maybe Cincy wants to move up and grab Richardson. Bucs have Talib, Wright, Barber (hes been invited back)

#6 Rams - Blackmon if he's there...or Reiff. signed Finnegan to a huge contract

#7 Jaguars - Coples/Ingram Maroons when it comes to drafting. My fear is they are a possible trade up partner to snag a Claiborne

#8 Miami - I now see them takIing A) Tannehill if available or B) Malcom Floyd

The browns have Joe Thomas, a 5 time pro-bowl

Lt I don't see them drafting Kalil (who is to undersized to be a rt at the moment)

With Kansas City signing Peyton Hillis, I think Cleveland is a lock to take Richardson. Then you've got Tampa taking Blackmon at 5 as the BPA and also since they signed Wright. St. Louis at 6 won't need him as they signed Finnegan so they'll probably take Reiff or maybe a DE. Given Flynn goes to Seattle or Cleveland, Miami will for sure take Tannehill at 8.

Even if all of this plays out as predicted though, I still don't see Claiborne slipping past the Jags at 7.

Idk why people think its going to be some crazy thing if Claiborne falls to us. CB and QBs fall more often then any other position. Also there a lot of parity in this draft class at CB. Teams are going to look for value in later rounds, maybe even us although I would not agree with that.

The Jags resigned Rashean Mathis, so you never know.

Claiborne is closely becoming a panther each day now. Tampa got Eric Wright, Barber is coming back. Their other FA moves are WR and G. With that, they are priming themselves for Trent Richardson.

Give me some Mo!

Bucs would be foolish to let barber influence anything they do in the draft. He's got one foot out of the NFL already and last i checked teams need 2 corners. I imagine as soon as he falls out of the top 5 some cb hungry team trades up to snag him from falling to us.
