Yep, the article said that he tried that before and "it did not work out well for him". Said the last time he played under the tag he ended up with 13 anchors in his shoulder and a 25% chance of playing football again.

With Nicks now out of the picture, how much more cash do they have to give Brees?

Let the Bucs win free agency. They are required to spend a certain amount of the cap anyway.

They still have a huge question mark with coaching...this team would be much more worrisome if they brought in a 2nd run coach but they went cheap/

Me I would have splurged on a coach...this team has talent they just couldnt get anything out of them

Nicks isn't going to singlehandedly solve the Bucs OL problems.. that entire line couldn't generate a run game. As nice as Vincent Jackson is, that team may still largely be one dimensional.. we'll see how that turns out though..

Please be more specific on thread titles. As an Eagles fan I was elated to see this and thought "I didn't even know Hakeem was a free agent!!!!! Thank God he is out of the NFC East!!!!".

Then I google.....then I sigh.

Thats what you get for lurking in a Panthers message board. The Fagles Suck!
