Why did we keep Clausen?

yeah it sucks because free agency only lasts twenty hours and we're stuck with what we have

DAMN YOU HURNEY DAMNNNN YOUUUUU

You should probably calm down before u pop a blood vessle in your forehead.

Take your medication and have a cup of coffee. Relax... Breathe...

Repeat until desired results are achieved.

And we kept Jimmy because we need a back up QB, and he knows the system. I don't believe Jimmy is going anywhere tbh

The flaw in your comment is we need a qb.....where is the qb?

There is a shortage of QBs in the league. If there is no huge roster bonus, you let him go through the preseason. If he looks good, you immediately have suitors. If not, a million dollar third string QB is not the end of the world.

Now, before people childishly start babbling about how bad he was in 2010, remember the conditions. We should be better on the OL and ay WR. A good half in preseason, and we could get a second or third rounder for him. He needs to be in a West Coast Offense anyway

exactly.

Probably will see QB movement later....after the draft or when teams make cuts later down the road.

Clausen had a better D than Cam, better OL than Cam, same stud backfield, and a pro bowl WR.....Clausen simply was THAT bad.

Clausen doesn't fit the schemes here...which will always make him look like a joke. He has little to no trade value and he wastes a roster spot.

Yes, 2 jakefans, you are so wise--and a dick- One day, you will replace sarcastic graphics with actual vocabulary that you thought up. Hopefully, there will be sense behind your words, logic, if you will.

There is a reason he is still on the roster.

    • Here's a thread where Ben Albright catalogues some of the more notorious fake ones, starting with NFLrums... Among those mentioned... - @NFLrums - @_MLFootball - @DanSileoShow - @CJGolson Others mentioned or known: - @WesSteinberg - @incarceratedbob - @nflnotify Don't buy any info from this bunch
    • Too early to tell. It's different in that aspect but if the draft is the same old then it's just polishing the turd. Not going on prodays was a basic step towards bare minimum. We will see.
    • I probably did not state this properly, but Waldo is on topic.  There was a lot of criticism about the Panther owners getting involved in 2023.  Bryce is doing fine and it could turn out to be the right pick--the point is, they need to 1. stay away from the process.  there is no point 2.  It seemed to have worked in 2024 and they were in the shadows or out of it, but we did not have a first rounder.  Then there was this altercation with the restaurant owner.  This year, we have the #8 overall pick in round 1 and they do not seem to be involved.  Or are they???? And this was meant to be light and humorous.
