I can live with the Everette Brown move... watch his college tape and tell me he wasn't worth the risk.

The Armanti move is the only one I really have a problem with... it was a HUGE reach and I think a little bit of local guy homerism was involved.

Maybe it's because we put so much emphasis on the draft, that we always trade away future picks just to get extra picks in the present draft. Then when the future draft comes, we scurry about trying to trade away more picks. Perhaps if we just sign one big name free agent as I said, we will feel more comfortable heading into the draft. Of course this year we had no money.

obviously you haven't been paying attention...

I have a hard time with both of them.

EB was never big enough to play 43 DE in the NFL, at least not the way Fox plays it.

Armanti was and is just stupid.

Drafting either of them is half retard, but when you factor in picks that were given away to get them it total, full on retard.

Armanti was the only move that wasn't made to help John Fox keep a job... for that I blame Hurney. and people who ignore that simple fact.

If a GM of a football team's biggest interest is keeping his HC from getting fired, instead of doing what is best for the team going forward, then both should be fired.

so what exactly is your point when Fox brought the most success to this franchise?

.......................................................................................?

oh that's right, Hurney shouldn't have believed in his coach..... great point. fans should run this team, obviously.

The guy was never even projected to play in a 4-3 scheme and Edwards was never projected at wr.That is not very smart.Plus he was shrinking from 6 ft 4 to 6ft 1

From wiki:

"2009 NFL DraftHaving already received his college degree, Brown decided to forgo his final season of eligibility and enter the 2009 NFL Draft.[1] Brown was considered “a perfect fit as a rush-linebacker in a 3-4 scheme” by ESPN′s Todd McShay.[2] He was listed at 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) by Florida State's media guide, but turned out to be just under 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m) at the NFL Combine"

You people just wanna make a splash for the sake of making a splash, whats the point? Not that we have the money anyways, but you want to overpay for guys who don't deserve the astronomical deals they are getting. The best teams build through the draft not free agency.
