bahaha... I am a bit of a Fins fan, but I can't help but laugh at the possibility of losing out on Manning and ending up with The Golden Calf of Bristol instead.

I'm still hoping for Flynn though. He is no Manning, but still.

Also, perhaps not the thread for this, but do you know what the purpose of the Marshall trade was?

Yes, this is the Dan curse! After the way the Fins parted ways with Shula and THEN basically ran Marino out of town after his 17 years of incomparable service, they are deserving of what they get. League bottom dwellers. Its called Karma. The Colts are in for the same fate.

Lesson: Don't poo on the ones who help make a name for your franchise.

Bottom line, Manning is looking for the team that gives him the best shot at getting to the playoffs....and potentially SB.

Broncos play in the GOD AWFUL AFC West.....add Manning to the mix in Denver and they would easily dominate that division for years.

Cardinals play in the bad NFC West....outside of SF, the NFC West is a complete joke. And, I do believe that SF massively overachieved last season and will take a step back. Alex Smith is still a bad QB.

Manning in short wants NO PART of the AFC East with the Patriots.

Fins might have traded him and it had nothing to do with Manning.

The Golden Calf of Bristol headed to Jacksonville, not Miami.

I do not think the trade had anything to do with Manning--this guy is trouble and the Fins grew tired of him.

The Golden Calf of Bristol, from what I hear, would be traded to Jacksonville.

Miami would then draft Tannehill at #8. This could cause Coples, FWIW, to drop to us at #9.

Jacksonville-- a toss up with Coples and Floyd

Miami--the BEST WR on the draft board, if that's Floyd, it's Floyd, if he's gone it's Kendall Wright, they need a WR badly now

Panthers-- either a DT or a CB.
