i remember this guy from his time with the ravens. was so good he got an enormous deal. if i recall correctly i think i read he had a family member die, maybe a brother, and that that fuged with him quite a bit and he almost retired. maybe familiarity with a former position coach and being near home is just what he needs.

yeah, kind of an irrelevant example now I suppose, but as soon as he moved to center it was like he was a different player. It was an immediate and significant upgrade in his play.

I'm just saying, it's not just going to be a plug and play move.

Oh, I understand what you're saying, but at least Brown has played guard I guess.

I thought we should have let Kalil play center as a rookie and move Hartwig to guard since he'd played it before. But maybe it didn't matter, and Kalil needed a year to add size anyway.

OMG fug YESS!!! I WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH HIM! Representing North Vance High School Vikings! He played LG when he first started in the NFL then moved to center. I hope to God we pick him up! He was a beast in the weight room and dominated on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. And still plays at a high level at the pro level. I will be happy as f**k if we sign him.

You sound like hes going to hook you up with tickets or something.

His contract was pretty outrageous, added with a bad season from off-field issues seems to his release.

I've no doubt if his spirits are rejuvenated that he'll be a good player for this team. The question is can he play guard.
