With the NFL being a bit more strict about tampering, it's going to be a bit slower than in some years past.

The Peyton thing seems to be it's own separate thing and there are only really 4-5 elite guys that are going to break the bank and then a lot of "meh". Free agency has sort of dwindled every year as teams get better at retaining their own guys.

I think slow fa period is more palatable when you are a team on the rise. Maybe I am drinking the koolaid but I do think we have a solid core. Dependable rotational guys are needed and maybe a hidden gem with something in the tank. What I do hope for is that the teams ahead of us in the draft make big splashes in fa that will cause a domino effect and allow talent to slip down. Other than that I am happy to sit back and watch the paint dry right now.
