Thanks to the unexpected gift of 1.6 million from the skins/cowboys and the 5.8 million savings of cutting Wharton who's out there thats worth a look?

1 star player, 2-3 mid level players, what do you guys think?. I did not anticapate either of these moves so never researched too much into free agents as I didn't expect this much room.

make more room via extending smitty and stew first

then target brodrick bunkley or antonio garay

i'm not sure if that will actually happen though

but garay followed rivera to chicago and san diego...

not sure where ron edwards plays into the equation

bunkley played with mcdermott in philly for awhile

i really just want a guaranteed to be good DT and i'll be fine with the rest of free agency. and maybe some OL reworking but nothing too flashy (grubbs, winston, etc).

    • Saints and Seahawks both making a push for Cooper Kupp The Rams receiver has at least two teams that are very interested in signing him. According to The Athletic, the Seahawks and Saints are both making a push to sign Kupp. The Seahawks could certainly use another receiver after trading DK Metcalf and cutting Tyler Lockett. As for the Saints, they don't have a ton of salary cap space, so it will be interesting to see if they can meet Kupp's asking price, which is apparently around $13 million or $14 million per year.
    • The intent behind the question wasn’t bad, it’s just how he framed the question was kinda goofy. I’m surprised people like him can do media professionally when they aren’t good public speakers. I wonder what he gets paid to do this.
    • Running back Kareem Hunt is returning to the Kansas City Chiefs on a one-year contract worth up to $2.5 million, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Friday.   He returns to a backfield led by Isiah Pacheco that also added former San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell this week.   Hunt, 29, joined the Chiefs for his second tour with the team early in the 2024 season after they placed Isiah Pacheco on the injured reserve list. Hunt led the Chiefs in rushing with 728 yards and seven touchdowns. He also rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns in three postseason games.
