I understand them wanting to sign WRs to surround RG3 but I don't get the money spend for the players they got.

Signing a big name like VJax and then someone like a Royal/Morgan much better. Which leaves them with a legit #1 & a #2. Now they just have a bunch of #2's on the roster.

Pierre Garcon is not good, and they way overpaid. You can throw out 950 yards all you want.

Morgan never played much, but he didn't get much I guess.

Eddie Royal has played well before, but injuries have slowed him.

Royal is the only one I really would have been happy with the Panthers going after.

I agree about over paying for him but we are Panthers fans and if any fans should know about that it US. As for Garcon obviously i cant convince you that the guy is a play maker and can burn alot of the CB's in the league so........

Maybe a couple of years ago but I think he's slowing down and is somewhere between 1 #1 & #2 guy. Maybe he'll have a resurgence similar to Steve Smith with a stud new Qb but that is remained to be seen.

Agreed I just think he has a couple left. He's almost had the same situations that Smith has been involved with. Very talented but not enough talent around them where they could win some Championships. wouldn't mind seein him in a Panthers jersey tho

Overall, the Plax deal was a train wreck for the Giants. They're still carrying dead cap money from that 6 year, 25 million dollar deal they gave him right before he shot himself.

I've picked up Eddie Royal every single year in fantasy, hoping for a breakout year. Maybe RGIII will grace me with one finally.

Meh, they got a superbowl and several years of probowl production out of it. I'd call that a success. Even if it ended incredibly weirdly and badly.
