Just a thought...maybe we decided to go after Eric Winston after his surprise release? Could shift Otah inside to RG, move Hangman to LG and have Winston at RT. Would be a sick O-line.

I liked Wharton, but as a fan I don't have to make the decisions that the GM's have to make to better the football team, whether its a business decision or a personnel decision, but good luck to Wharton......

wharton was about a 7 million dollar cap hit. carl nicks is looking to make between 8 and 9 million a season.

I dont understand it. we save 3.7 million. I would be all for it if we saved all 7.7 he was due but we don't. He should have restructered if given the opportunity. His agent failed him if he tried playing hardball.

Man I hope they have a Solid plan. Wharton was reliable and versatile. Tough break for the O-line and obviously other Panthers players based upon their tweets.
