I'm not sure if I understand changing our offense when we get a lead. Sounds like something Fox would do instead of sticking with what got you the lead.

The more offense plays done the more information the opposite coordinator have to work with if you don change. You also want to avoid high risk/high reward plays with a 2 TD lead. Plus if you can keep the offense on the field 5 minutes longer, even though you get a 3 instead of a TD, the extra rest for the defense (especially ours...) might save the game.

And leave Fox out of this, he played as with had a 2 TD lead regardless of current score.
