foxy had that game changing attitude.

remember that 49ers game we were getting stomped by halftime and came back in win it in the 4th.

only Tony Dungy can be a quiet type attitude coach. not rivera, not leslie frazier, not no one

Hahaha game changing attitude? The dude that ran every single time on third and long? The guy that would take a knee and take it to the locker room with 2 minutes left in the first half? Really that guy??

I saw so many times that when a player screwed up last season, Rivera went and grabbed them and chewed them out on the bench. He also wasn't afraid to go for it on 3rd and long and 4th down. And he always kept playing trying to get more points. He is far, I MEAN far from the quiet coach. I also love how he did almost daily press conferences to keep the fans up to date. Fox never did that.

Rivera is a perfect mix of friend to the players and tough coach. Fox just tried to be buddy buddy with the players and that doesn't work. You have to be very strict. Rivera definitely is.

You sir make ZERO sense.

Ah yeah, I think we all miss foxy's never say die, give 'em hell, fiery all day passion.

Yeah, I really miss him chewing his gum and clapping his hands every time someone screwed up.

Fox was a good coach in many ways, but he ran his course here and his refusal to develop young players ultimately put is in a very bad position when our veterans started to age out.

I do miss Pep (when he felt like playing), Ruck, Buck and Jenks (when he felt like playing). That d-line was down right nasty (when Pep and Jenks felt like playing).

well pretty much everything i wanted to say has been said.

lmao could you imagine though if cam newton was jammed down john fox's throat (it was going to happen regardless of who was coaching here)

Fox would have used Cam like he used The Golden Calf of Bristol, instead of developing his passing skills.

when he can play his game and he's got the right guys for his philosophy he's as good as anyone. there were some impressive beatdowns laid on quality teams in his time here.

when he's out of his comfort zone and he has no answer for what the other team is doing though it gets ugly fast. think back to what the eagles' defense did to us on opening day 2009.
