The cap room wont matter. Jake Delhomme has already proven the last 6 years he cant get us over the top. The fans want a Super Bowl. This move pretty much ensures we wont be seeing 1 anytime soon. Now that we've handcuffed ourselves to Jake to the tune of 42 mill, we'll see that as he continues to decline so will the franchise. It could definitely become 1998-2001 all over again.

at least we pretty much know our team is going to be there towards the end, which is somewhere those other 2 teams haven't been since the 90's. 12-4 is pretty solid and I would be happy to have that record again this year.
