Redskins ignoring the NFL's orders?

The media is saying they should fight it.

If the majority of owners have told the Commissioner "OK" on this (and they have since all but four teams did as they were told) and the NFLPA says "OK!", then they ain't got a chance in hell.

A stupid thing to go to the mats over.

You were TOLD the (team) behavior that was expected of you. If the ENTIRE rest of the league comports to that behavior and you do not, expect to get your pee-pee knocked in the dirt.

They weren't told they couldn't sign new players... they were just told that they could NOT play salary tricks with existing players.

But they did it anyway.

Too bad for them.

Know why the Big Cat doesn't have big bucks to spend in free agency this year? Because he did as the NFL expected him to do (as did 27 other owners). When there is a "gentleman's agreement" between owners and a very few owners spit in the majority's faces, they shouldn't expect courtesy in return.

The NFL expected him to give huge contracts last offseason?

OK, if I have to spell it out for you:

If Big Cat had salary dumped in 2010 like the 'Boys and the 'Skins, then the HUGE CONTRACTS of 2011 wouldn't have been so burdensome on the 2012 cap.

Understand now?

Soooo...what's your point? You are basically saying the Panthers don't have cap space becuase they didn't do the questionable things that a few teams did. In other words their regular cap management skills are lacking.

Wanna know my point? Read up-thread... I've already made it.
