I had the pleasure of watching Princess of Mars on SyFy yesterday...don't know if Disney can compete with the awesome badness of that...but I'll take your word for it :)

Gotta be honest, I watched this movie last night and thought it was fairly tedious, can't really say I left saying this was a great movie

Hey well at least you have an opinion after seeing it - I can see that in the middle of the movie theres some exposition that seems like it could go faster, but I thought the visuals of the River Iss and the badass hunters made up for it - also it gave John and Dejah some needed time to communicate. Certainly the fight following the scene was pretty freaking awesome.

The movie apparently did better than expected in it's first weekend, especially worldwide, so I am hoping that a sequel can get done - now that all the back story is told there can be more cool stuff to see.

Doubt there will be a sequel. The budget on this one guarantees they will lose a lot of money unless it gets dark knight/avatar box office numbers.
