Yes, so what does that tell you about Jake's value?

Oh wait, I see where you're coming from - you have a Pat White avatar.

Pat White... our savior!

Nothing tho do with Jake more like we upgrade our Oline and Secondary last year.

Just because i have Pat White in my Avatar doesnt mean I want him starting this year.

Well, at the very least we can take comfort in the fact that we came a hell of allot closer to "almost did it" than the Bucs did (you can't win it all if you don't even make the playoffs). It's clear that the Monday night smackdown we laid on you guys was the beginning of the end.

Given that the Bucs are in a rebuilding phase now, I suspect we'll come a hell of allot closer this year too. I'm biased, but when I look at the Bucs roster right now I don't see much that makes me think the Bucs will pose any kind of threat anytime soon.

As much as I do hate the Buc's, they do have my last years sleeper at QB on there roster in Josh Johnson. I didn't pay much attention to him last preseason but I think he had it all coming out of college. Touch, arm strength, and Quick in and outside the pocket (but not only a scrambler). He could be an X factor next year if they use him right.

- We have 21 of 22 starters returning from a 12-4 team. The one starter that is not returning was considered by many to be more of a liability than an asset.

ughhh....

If I recall, that same statement was made following our previous playoff run and the accompanying offseason.

Returning starters doesn't account for to awful much outside of continuity.

2007 season was when they said it. The only player hurt was Jake.

That's just wrong and you know it. You love to stir it up don't you?...

2004 - 14 starting players on IR.

2006 - Wharton, Morgan, etc. out for the year in the first game.

2007 - Jake out in game 3.

I know, injuries are no excuse, just like the economy is no excuse for poor sales this year, but it is as well, (some things you just can't overcome no matter how hard you want to...).

Was talking about the quote "21 of 22 starters returning" it was said in 2007 in the offseason and we went 7-9.

2004 was just a messed up year.

Uhm I am pretty sure 21 of 22 was not the case for 07. For one Keyshawn was gone, Beason came in as a new starter, Minter had retired and maybe a few from the O-line can be thrown in there as different starters. We are splitting hairs but it just shows you don't know what you are talking about.

Whose the one not knowing what they are talking about.

Hurney has said he's content with 21 of 22 starters returning from the injury-plagued 2006 season. But Carolina is extremely thin at safety, linebacker and defensive end, needs to add depth at tight end and receiver, and find a kickoff and punt returner.

Good one. But that was Hurney talking optimistic, those starters were not full time starters. Let's use common sense ok?

Mike Minter was a starter in 06 correct? How bout 07?

Keyshawn Johnson a starter in 06 correct? How bout 07?

Beason was drafted in 07 right? To start right? He came in to play WSB which was played by Draft(gone in 07), maybe Anderson as a rookie. So that is at least three. I wonder how much you actually pay attention

So he quotes an article proving you wrong, links to it, and he's got the comprehension issues?

Spin it baby.

You're getting owned across like 4 threads now.
