True, but then again you could look at not tendering Geoff Schwartz, Jason Phillips, Seyi Ajirotutu, or Thomas Williams as an attempt to save money and cap space that we can use to sign Shockey.

They are exclusive rights free agents, so I dont think other teams can give them an offer sheet. They are here unless we cut them.

Don't see how people get Shockey not coming back through this. Looks to me like the front office is wanting to see what Shockey's value is on the market before talking to him again.
