Thomas Davis lobbying for Poe

I was with drafting in the backfield. If Morris there, take him which he wont be. If Blackmon is there, take him. Which he won't be

Which leaves Luke. Im not with DT, how many DT's do we already have? I'm done on TD, but after Beast (hold back tears) its time we definitely start there to set up the future

Does anyone got any video on Poe? BTW can you imagian if we draft poe and Ron works out like we think. Both of them starting while Mcclain and Fue backs them up. That would be an awsome front 4 then. :D Along with Hardy and Charle Johnson at DE postions.

You know......that sounds like what we INITIALLY thought of Cam and we still drafted him. But im sure somebody will tell me it wasnt.....

Only difference is Cam was the best player in all of college football....he dominated on a football field and had an endless ceiling to develop...

The DT and CB classes are very deep. Either way you go, you could get a quality player in the second. I like the idea of a LB in the 1st if he is the BDPA. It's a real tough spot, but certainly trust Hurney and Rivera here. Glad I don't make the decisions.

In other words because he won the Heisman. Thats basically what your saying, and the last time i checked players are not drafted into the NFL off of being THE best player in college football (winning the Heisman). Hypothetically If Andrew Luck had of came out he would have been the pick, even though Cam was anointed as the best player in college football so that part of your argument is not a factor. Peterson, Green, Darius were all worthy but we went with Cam because he fit a need and had unlimited potential (not just his stats) even though we picked somebody a year before who got experience but didnt really show anything (Clausen), and Cam only had one good year in Division 1 ball. We could have gave Clausen more time to develop but we didnt. Our DT situation is the same as that one. Poe has the tools to be the best DT in the league one day if developed right even though he didnt light up college. Fua and McClain ceilings are nowhere near his. He would be drafted based more off his potential and tools not just his stats.
