Pro Bowl Selection

Such a joke. AP really? On 292 carries and 1,416 yds, he only has 200 some odd yds over DWill at 212 carries for 1,141 and AP only has 9 TDs whereas DWill has 13 TDs. AP has 4.9 avg and DWill has 5.4 avg. Deangelo is clearly blowing him away.

It's like a stupid high school superlative election....BS!

Also AP has 6 fumbles this season and Dwill has 0 and Dwill has 2td catches and AP has 0.

no... i see Peppers and Smith and that's it... maybe Williams as the third RB... Beasom is not going to make it... he's not well known enough across the league at a very competitive position...

beason's actually blowing up nationally, especially after they fellated him during the mnf game.

i predict beason, willis, and Urlacher because he's getting in no matter what he does until he retires

I'd rather have our players be in that OTHER game they play in February. It has a bit more importance than the Pro Bowl. ;)

I'm sorry but the average fan isn't going to know who's really the best guard in the AFC. What's the barometer for a great guard, pancakes?

Also, why is the cutoff not the end of the season? I know that the last two weeks are great opportunities for garbage stats but still...

Because of the fan votes, it's conceivable that no Panthers will once again win this popularity contest:

Beason - Definitely is Pro Bowl worthy. However, he can be easily jobbed by guys like Barrett Rudd, Bradie James, and London Fletcher.

Peppers - His performance on MNF might just be enough to get him enough. He has Abraham, Allen, and Tuck to compete with.

Harris - If he only had the similar amount of fumbles like last season, he had a shot. I say no.

Smitty - I'm leaning no. Those two games cost him in yardage and not enough TD's.

D-Will - If he was playing in New York or Dallas, this would be automatic. Even so, he made a really good case for himself the past couple of weeks.

The Uglies - Best odds are with Gross and Wharton.

dwill is finishing strong, and keep in mind the first game a lot of this country saw of him was on monday night. that will play strongly in voters minds.
Correct me if I'm wrong but assuming he gets in, wouldn't that make him the 1st Original Panthers RB getting Pro Bowl honors?

What Panthers do you guys think will make the Pro Bowl?

I say it will be Peppers, Beason, and Smith. I think D.Will should go but I think they only take 3 RB and if so I guess it would be, Peterson, Turner, and Portis.

No way Turner makes it and D.Will doesn't

Peppers, Smith, and DeAngelo all deserve to go but most likely won't, because it's a popularity contest and we've been under the radar most of the season. A case could also be made for Beason, Wharton, and Hoover. People may laugh at the Hoover suggestion but his run blocking has been excellent all year.
