34 - Not the Defense

Michael Turner had more than twice as many.

Deangello had more carries.

Blount had more carries.

Stewart played more snaps than any of those guys.....by a wide margin. Reason why?

When teams inserted Blount, Turner or Williams the offenses were all more limited. They likely were going to run.

Stewart gave his team the FULL playbook on the field....none of the others did. That is why Stewart was the field more....he could run, catch....and allow the offense to go downfield. Stewart being on the field made the offense less predictable than those other RBs.

I believe Stewart is the better all around back. I fully understand what he brings to the table. I just think somebody is making up stats. When somebody says he had the most carries in the NFL South and he didn't even have half as many as another it's hard to ignore.

Where can the snap count data be found?

Pat Y wrote a piece about snap count and Stewart lead the division. You would need to search the NFCS blog for it. Maybe the above poster meant touches or snaps.
