I worked pest control for a year and a half and we had a guy nicknamed Spiders who worked with us. He is a real cool old guy who shakes a lot and walks very awkwardly. One time I asked why they called him Spiders. He told me he was doing a job under a house, in the crawlspace, and bunch of spiders attacked him and bit his legs. There was so much venom in his legs that his muscles were permanently damaged, and it traveled in his bloodstream, which is why his body was constantly shaking. He showed me the scars... it was horrifying. I always thought of them as loners who didn't swarm, but sometimes they will. Every time I went into a crawl space, I thought of that story. I HATE spiders... they are the only thing I go out of my way to kill on sight.
