cool... i love short stories so i'll definitely check those out... do you have a collection you're reading from?

I've got the 6 book set of Books of Blood on my nook. Even the worst stories are better than most, and there's only a couple of OMG BIG SCARY MONSTAR stories in them. Some are supernatural, some are psychological. Good stuff for what it is.

pick up some clive barker if you get a chance, and let me know what you think. he's pretty "stephen kingy" but at least he knows how to end a book...even if the end does come 100 pages after the climax.

That does seem to be an issue with King...but there are few authors that are as good as him at developing interesting stories and characters. But yeah, he does seem to have trouble at resolving ideas.

If you liked the older Stephen King I recommend "Duma Key"

I quit reading his stuff about 20 years ago because frankly it started to suck - then I found a copy of this at the local library and gave it a try a coule years ago
