Minter says Players were rewarded for Game changing plays..

It is also money that doesn't go against the cap that the player receives from an organization if the coaches and staff are the ones paying. Which if the team is right up against the cap, could of been a salary cap violation if the payouts were high enough.

So are college players with helmet stickers.

Different organization with different rules which I frankly could not care about college ball until they get a playoff.

I have not watched a bowl game except Championship game in a long time.

Actually I didn't watch a single regular season game either for college ball.

I don't mean to be an ass at all but can you read?

I can, but what I pull from the article is that the players in question exchanged money for things like fumbles, sacks, tackles and interceptions, something not directly related to one of the major reasons we had a lockout. Incentives for things like this are included in contracts, but it seems this article focuses on non-contractual incentives exchanged between players with no mention of ownership or the coaching staff taking part. While both are against the rules, it's like comparing jaywalking to battery. Both could be punished, it would just be more difficult for the NFL to pursue a few players for exchanging money for non injury causing hits compared to an organization wide effort to injure for money.

Well, best believe all of this will soon be cut out. It's not really a big deal, but I would have liked to keep something like this in the locker room. It's no need to go yapping off at the mouth about everything that goes on in that locker room. It's nowhere near the saints situation, but Minter still should have kept this to himself instead of running to the paper or radio. Same thing goes for considine

They are very different and both are against NFL rules.

The question is, who cares? We're not going to get punished.

If you called Goodell to report us, he would say, "come back with some proof" and hang up. When you have your proof ready and you call him again, he would ignore your call. There is nothing to talk about here. It doesn't matter whether or not it's illegal. It's not unethical like a bounty system and that's all that matters. File it under illegal if it makes you feel good, nothing will change.
