I missed the game but I only watch the bobcats to watch bismack play. The dude is incredibly raw. And yes he is our C of the future. Once he picks up the feel of the game he is going to lock down the inside. And he has the heart of a lion when it comes to his work ethic and competitiveness. Im glad Cho fell in love with him and moved up to get him. If we are lucky enough to get Davis our inside D is going to be nasty.

If we get Anthony Davis you won't be able to score in the paint against us.

I'm a big Bismack fan. He's very personable off the court as well, he always takes time to sign and take pictures with fans. The Bobcats need to build around Bismack, not Kemba. He's now had 6 games with over 10 rebounds and 8 games with at least 3 blocks, all while averaging just 16 minutes per game. Once his offensive game develops we're looking at a monster.

It's only one game!!!!!!

And he's only 6'9!!!!!!! That's a PF!!!!!!!!

Anthony Davis is our center!!!!!!!!

He has been playing great all season long. Especially for a 19 year old that has never played USA NBA style basketball against the best players in the world. He has a long reach, as you could see when he beat Dwight Howard on the jump ball. He has plenty of time left to grow an inch or 2. I am excited about him. But yes, I'm still hoping for Anthony Davis. Or Barnes.

Hey guys, Bismack admirer here and Panthers fan from Utah. I fell in love with the dude before the draft and wanted the jazz to ****** him up but was happy he landed with Charlotte because he can get minutes and grow a lot as a player. Anyways I just uploaded a video from his game vs. Pacers where he blocked 6 shots and got 10 points and 9 boards:

Can't wait for his game vs. Jazz tonight!!

Bismack will stay in Charlotte when it's time for a new deal. When Kemba's contract is up, he's going to New York (or some other larger market), guaranteed.

I too can see Bismack staying when his contract is up if we are a competitive team. He didn't grow up in the US, so his opinion on a 'small market' may be very different than that of players that grew up in the U.S. dreaming of places like LA, Miami, NY, and Chicago.

I'm in love with the kid....we haven't gotten a break since this franchise was formed...we finally got one. Add Davis in the draft, and with out free agent budget we'll get a perimenter scorer easy. Gonna be fun to watch.

agree

    • Fans are fed up with this organization's endless string of failures. And, while Morgan's less than a year into his current position, everything he's done is barreling down the same path shat out by his predecessor. If we're just pointing out this alarming lack of discrepancy between the performances of two GMs, it's really not hating. He's just proving to not be a good hire. And, hey, it's alright, because whoever Tepper hires next will, at best, only suck a little bit less. I don't mind people who are optimistic and hope Morgan turns out to be better than he's been thus far. That'd be great. None of us are rooting for him to fail. However, the embarrassing pattern of decisions persists. And it's not a good look.
    • You have to view everything that was done in 2024 through the ‘eliminate excuses for Bryce Young’ lens IMO. It only makes sense that way.     If you allow for that, you will see that Diontae fulfilled his purpose.
    • The Panthers' beat writer called the Johnson trade return "a warm bottle of RC Cola." If you're quick to discount every bit of news that disagrees with your view, maybe your view is the problem. Morgan deals himself a bad hand and he deserves every bit of criticism for it. Fitterer was the worst GM ever, but Morgan is a very similar brand of awful. Certainly when it comes to trades since 2021, Morgan's body of work makes him at best, only one of the worst negotiators in the history of North American professional sports. That's simply pointing out the numerous shortcomings he's put on display. If I point at a guy who shot someone and say "he murdered a guy," I'm not hating on him -- I'm pointing out what he did. If Morgan wants to not be labeled an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better, simply stop being an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better. Or, wait until Tepper makes him the fall guy after Evero.
