Panthers sort of mentioned as a team that MIGHT show interest in Vincent Jackson

Shefter was spoon fed at the NFLN.

While i still think he's allright, he takes more stabs in the dark now that heks with ESPN.

Nothing but the charger connection.

I also don't see the panthers paying enough to land vincent.

Espn tells every one of its operations to sensationalize and piss people off how ever they can get ratings.

mmm kind always thought thats why Moose didnt want to do the Frank n Moose show, idk

I wish we could afford to. Talk about major targets for the big guy. Lafell really showed out this season, Naane is pretty much still garbage but between Jackson, Smitty, Lafell, Olsen, and Shockey, Cam would be loving life.

So would I.

umm in no way did i say i am hearing this. it is copy and pasted straight from rotoworld. also havent posted anything from my source on here in months. never will what anyone tells me on a message board will make me think i am a joke haha that is just ridiculous.

the awkward laughter is a bit misleading, but I have to assume your survival instinct is strong enough to believe that...

Shefter knows how to keep it sexy and interesting. All you gotta do is tell the kids there might be a new WR in the future and they'll stayed glued to the story. You dont even have to worry about lying since you later get to tell them Gettis is healthy.

It's kind of when you have to do the old "Look there's no Santa Claus, but hey dont tell your little brother and you'll still get craps loads of awesome gifts"

title is a bit more accurate now

Take note NJ. Perfect example of the context in which your threads should be titled. Of course, you won't be fooling as many people and won't get as many readers, so your ego might be hurt a bit but your credibility will still suck so nothing lost there.

What's amazing is you refusing to admit that you made a mistake, which is NOT something that responsible journalists do. Its ok to be wrong, its not ok to continue to spew inaccuracies after they've been revealed.

I don't understand what the big deal is, the only thing you are doing right now is making an ass of yourself.

you would have to direct that towards a journalist, first and foremost... much less a responsible one...

I do have more followers compared to last year so I am fine.

What mistake did I make? I copied and pasted something from rotoworld. It stated Schefter reported the Panthers as a potential suitor. Then rotoworld went on to say that these statements were most likely based off his inside sources. Seriously get over it the thread title. This is the front page of the New York Times. It is how I interpreted it as did rotoworld.

"Potential suitor" is not even close to the same meaning as "Showing Interest In".

You fail again.

Think you are missing this key part here. Because it is likely based on his sources doesn't make it fact.

    • I don't really like the phrase, "moral victory". I get what's meant by it, but does that mean that if you do the opposite (play poorly but win) it's an immoral victory? 🤔
    • I blame Evero because he is overrated. Vance Joseph created the defense in Denver that he took credit for. Wilks ran the ball down his throat and Darnold had a 103.8 rtg.  Last year we were decent in yards allowed, and horrible in everything else. Only reason? We kept giving up good field position.  He's had his choice of players to bring in since his scheme is so "complicated." Maybe he should stop trying to be so fancy like running Cover 4 on 3rd and 1 earlier and focus on fundamentals like tackling. These years of Eric Washington, Phil Snow, and Evero must have gotten you confused on what a real defense looked like. Go back and watch the McDermott and Wilks years- this dude is sofT.
    • I tried to make it a point in the opening post that I don't think the offense is a finished product. I think we still need more talent at WR, better play calling, catch more consistently, elimate ridiculous penalties,  and be more consistency in scoring points. I'm just saying, they look markedly better than last year imo. They have scored 20 or more in 6 games and 30 or more in 2 games. And that's particularly notable considering they only mustered 10 points and 3 points in first 2 games of this year and they got blanked on 0 points two games in a row to wrap up last season . I'd say that's a market improvement.  I'm not crowning them and saying we have a top 10 offense or anything.  I'm comparing them to themselves in recent history.
