I have left the following Bandwagons

14.5 tfl with 5 sacks playing in the SEC is not good enough?we already have NTs in Fua, Edwards and Kearse this team needs a solid 3 tech that will be disruptive.

I think you completely missed the sarcasm and humor in his post.....go back and re-read it.

Great question. I was on and am off the wagons belonging to every person you mention.

Add: Jonathan Martin (can he anchor?) and Riley Reiff (Short arms? Robert Gallery?)

Kendall Wright (thought he was perhaps the next Steve Smith--Smitty never ran in the 4.6 range)

I fell off Coples' wagon, and doubt it matters now, but would RR want him at #9? Prolly.

Kirkpatrick (not good fit, weed)

So who is left? Here is my board

Luke Kuechly--the more I think about the Hurney way, the more I see Kuechly in Charlotte.

Riley Reiff--A safe pick that wll start from day 1.

David DeCastro--Can a G be worth it? I would have to watch the season again, but I think he would be here. Wharton and Hangman were on skates in pass protection.

Michael Floyd--This is a guy nobody is talking about--He is a stud who could sneak up our board.

Mark Barron--Maybe he can play FS. If not, Godfrey can. We need a QB at S, not a lost sheep.

Not all of these are worth the 9 pick. Some would say none are.

I'm hoping Quinton Coples is there.

What scares me is there are a lot of Tarheel fans who do not want him. I would ask them these questions:

1. Why not? Was it the fact that he had 2 coaches, 2 positions, and a messed up bunch of teammates?

2. Do you think RR could motivate him?

1. Opposing defenses took Coples out of the equation with double teams, chip blocking, and obvious holding. UNC fans probably look at it as he quit on the team or whatever.

2. That's totally impossible to answer. Some people are fickle.

Yep, I think 9 is a bad place to be at this year.

All of the blue chips will already be gone, and Miami winning the coin toss killed us, because they will either draft Tannehill, leaving us no chance to trade down, or they will get the calls from other teams wanting to trade down if they find a QB in FA.

A lot of people last year were saying we picked a bad time to have #1 overall, and look how that turned out.

As to it being unfortunate that Miami won the toss...maybe not. We get the lower pick in rounds 2 and 4. Had we been at 8, we would not have had the advantage again until the 5th round.

I think there are a lot of good to great players that will be available at 9. We are just going to have to trust our scouts, coaches and GM to make the right decision. These guys know all the prospects a hell of a lot better than any of us.

So watch us draft Richardson.
