Um in what alternate universe are we gonna be able to afford CJ and Super Mario. We loosened up the purse strings to resign D-Will, CJ and Kalil. Not much more room for big contracts. Big nasty Dlineman like Mario do not come across the draft board or FA often. He will be able to name his own price on the market. That is why Houston is balking at paying an out of position DE. Mario belongs in a 4-3. JMO Seattle or other teams are way more likely than us.

If they got Mario Williams I'd take back every word I've said about Marty Hurney not getting any top free agents.

If they got Mario Williams I would actually feel like the Panthers were trying to actually win a Super Bowl.

If they got Mario Williams I'd think I was actually in an alternate reality like the show "Fringe".

doubt we can afford or will go after either, but if we went after anyone of them, Mario Williams. i think he is better than Julius Peppers and would love him to be on our defense and have another big, tall defensive end that is a great pass rusher.

It's obviously an enormous "IF", but IF we signed Mario, and then drafted Brockers or Poe we would instantly have a world class D-line in my opinion. Instant top 10 defense.

Mario will need about 14 million a year and VJ about 10 million .....I dont think we have enough in the piggy bank given our other needs.
