I've been a huge fan of 'The Kraken' since he came here. He is looking at his 3rd year where it's time to show a boom or bust for a draftee. Given that he was taken in the 6th round, it's low risk, high reward type material.

he has shown a couple flashes here and there but 80% of the time he is getting abused. I'm nowhere near sold on him yet. Hope he finally proves me wrong.

I went to a game this year and have watched every snap through iTunes a few times now, and Hardy, believe it or not, is more often in the backfield than any other defensive player we have in our team. What I would like to see from him this year, is going for the kill. While CJ spent less time in the backfield, he sacked the QB more. Hardy, too often, gets close and flushes the QB out, but doesn't get a stat for it. You are reading stats, not watching games.

lesson #1: re-watch a few games early in the season and pay attention to Hardy getting after offenses. You'll soon witness and realize how ridiculous it is to think Greg Hardy has a good chance of getting replaced any time soon..

the expectations for Hardy are so high because even the doubters see how much potential the kid has... dude has the skillset as if he were drafted in the very early rounds; so long as he can stay healthy..
