If everyone does it, I can assume by the games I watched that New Orleans did it the most. They have been dirty for a while. Scott Fujita once blindsided a helpless Panther way behind the play and I wondered then about it. Watch Favre after an interception get chased. Watch Steve Smith get hit.

When the fines for crap like this are more than the bounty, it suggests there is a culture of this behavior that exceeds the money. Kinda like the rush you get in a nickel poker game.

Also, IIRC, their gunner a few years back (Gleason) got kicked out of a game against us for a dirty play. I can't remember if it was a late hit or a punch thrown, but it pissed me off.

Their team and organization is as dirty as their city and I'm glad we can talk about them now for being the filth that they are rather than media trying to make them a Cinderella story a few years back.

What I find pathetic is that the NFL has known about it for how many years while investigating it and didn't intervene until now?

Regardless, combine this with them tagging Brees today and most likely losing Colston, Nicks, a few other pieces, and the possibility of their staff being fired or forced to resign. It feels great to have them back as bottomfeeders... where they belong.

Doesn't need to, it's a felony...Vicodin, class I narcotic etc.

Still gotta have evidence.

Whether or not there was enough in that case is a topic you can argue, though there really isn't much point to it.

This one, however, has enough evidence to keep a speed reader busy for a year.

I hope they get hit for violating the Bounty program and for Cap circumvention.

3.5 million team fine

3 first round picks

250k fines for Loomis, Payton and Williams

1 game suspension and 100k fines for all players involved.

2 game suspensions for all the coaches involved.

I think I could die a happy man if this were to actually happen.
