Yahoo's Jason Cole said on WIST this morning Saints WR Marques Colston WILL resign and that Bounty-penalties will be more $ than suspensions

Did y'all catch that, MORE $$$$ THAN SUSPENSIONS! Fines don't hurt the Saints since it doesn't count against cap space and comes out of the pocket of billionaire owner, Tom Benson.

So if the players get fined the owner is going to pay them?

It's definitely a possibility! The bigger point is that fines do not affect the team as far as ability to compete. A fine against cap space would have been different, but this doesn't count against cap.

Accusations/findings regarding the saints* have already been investigated/documented by NFL Security. The NFL released a brief overview of the report. In case you haven't been paying attention, the "accusation" part has been over with for a couple years now. The verdict is in and the saints* are waiting for Goodell's final penalty. It will exceed the one the Patriots' were given. I really believe this hasn't sunk in yet.

Glad to hear that the Commissioner has released his report to you and you know what the so called punishment is going to be. Not that it matters, Saints resigned Colston will either sign Nicks or Grubbs, won't miss a beat.

I did.

Oddly enough, they still show the Rams won a Super Bowl while last year's Saints got knocked out of the playoffs and got nothing (except a league investigation).

I guess you didn't check close enough. The second greatest offensive team of all time the New England Patriots did not win the Super Bowl. Please check your facts before you try to debate me.

      Agreed on all counts. The thread just read a bit like the Rhule deference that was here early on, and especially in the back and forth with Bridgewater where everyone sided with Rhule and staff over Teddy just because they hated Teddy's play. Look how that turned out.
