Saints in BIG trouble...

Number one both Warner and Farve have publicly said that the hits were legal and fine with them.

Williams admitted what they were doing was wrong.

Number two Saints have not been punished

Not yet, but there is a lot of whining from saint fans. Its the NFL equivalent of crying before the whuppin in the hopes mom/dad will take it easy on you.

Number three This is probably the most overblown bunch of hypocritical bull**** that has ever been displayed in the history of organized sports. The vast majority of ex NFL players are coming out saying that it is ridiculous.

"But daaaaaaad! Everybody does iiiiiiiiiit! Baaaaaaw!"

Number four If the Saints do get punished (and it will be much lighter than people are predicting) it will only be because the commisioner wants to send a message to all the other teams that are doing the same thing.

So he's going to send a message to other teams by giving the Saints a weak punishment? Do I really need to explain the flaw in that log.... Sigh, of course I do you're a saints fan.

Look. He already sent a message. That message was "Hey, I know about the bounty program but I can't prove it. So knock it off & we'll just let it slide." That message was to the Saints & what did your moronic, mess of a team do? They kept doing it & STARTED TAKING NOTES THAT COULD BE USED AS THE EVIDENCE THAT THE FUGGIN NFL COULDN'T FIND THE FIRST TIME!!!!!

Number five Even if the Saints get punished and lose 2nd or third round picks they had the greatest offense in the history of the league last year and will be the favorite to win the NFC south and will have a new dc that will make them much better

Without key components coming back? With a QB they decided to piss on? With the likelihood that its going to be far more than just a couple of picks? With a slew of lawsuits about how the NFL isn't concerned about player safety?

While it is true that all defensive players probably get incentives, it's most likely for interceptions, sacks, and stops for losses. Most players have admitted this. Noone has admitted that they were payed to injure a player....INJURE a player! This is the dumbassery that will diminish this pathetic organization to shambles. That and your precious QB.

Farve said the hits are "part of the game" he didn't necessarily say they were legal, he just accepts the fact that as a QB people are gunning for you.

True, the Saints have not been punished (yet) only because the punishment Goodell has in mind is so severe and unprecedented that he wants to get the NFLPA and the rest of the owners to sign off on it before he hands it down.

Find me another team where there is 50,000 pages worth of evidence documenting that rewards were given out by the coaching staff for knocking opponents out of the game or getting them carted off the field. Find me another team where there is evidence that the GM and HC had direct knowledge of it and the HC's agent (who he was previously ordered to disassociate himself with) was throwing money in the hat. I've heard plenty of players say they had bounties for things like interceptions, special teams plays, etc... I have yet to hear anyone say they had bounties for getting someone carted off the field. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if other teams were doing it, the Saints got caught and should be punished.

The punishment will be severe BECAUSE the commish wants to make an example out of the Saints. The punishment has to be such that no other team would dare run a bounty system like the Saints were running for fear of meeting the same fate.

The Saints will lose at least a 1st round pick and probably more, you can bank on that. They had the greatest offense not to win a championship, so congrats on that... talk about a hollow accomplishment. That new DC is going to have a tough time when half his players are suspended for multiple games.

On top of all this, Brees is not a happy camper...

Here is an example of things being overblown.

Saints GM was told to stop the bounty program and he still didn't do it!

Mickey Loomis was told by Tom Benson AT THE END OF THE 2011 SEASON. In other words about 6 or 7 weeks ago. Who knows if it was the day before the Saints first playoff game or what. It's not like he knew for months and kept quiet and I am sure that he knew Williams was leaving and he wouldn't have to deal with it if it was true. The perception is that there was some big conspiracy and that was just not true. The media is just out of control and the reason the penalties will not be severe is because proof is leaking out that multiple teams are doing the same thing.

“Morelli, by the way, through the league, denies telling that to Favre. . proves that you are no different than the lying media who has overblown the story
No matter what the men in the white coats say, please Dear Baby Jesus don't ever change.

Here's what is great. The Saints traded their number 1 this year for Mark Ingram so they can't touch that one. Their second pick is like 25th of the second round. Yea that's going to hurt them. Brees will be locked up within a couple of weeks, Nicks has already said he wants to come back. Randy Moss by all accounts looked fantastic in his workout. Good gosh this could it be that the Saints will be even better next year?

In regards to not winning the Super Bowl? You are right last year they came up short. But they do have a Lombardi which is something the Panthers do not and probably will not ever have. Not to mention that the one Super Bowl the Panthers played in there was admitted and known steroid usage by many of the players so even when they cheated they couldn't win. At least the Saints SB win was legit!

I give you PIE, but its filled with $hit, cuz that is all that is coming out of your tainted mouth,

The Pats were juiced up on steroids that year also, if you remember Rodney Harrison got caught, he had a shipment sent to his house a week before the SB, so both teams had the same advantage. GO
