Saints in BIG trouble...

The rest of the league is going to realize that every team does this and the Saints will get a slap on the wrist. Just glad it is not turning into the big deal that others earlier predicted

You're still not grasping the differences are you?

"I know dudes who doubled their salaries from it"....yeah, no big deal...you're clearly insane. If anything these type stories are making it worse.

The fact that the staff of the Saints was complicit in this, told to cease the program, and ignored the NFL is the main problem here. I'm thinking they're more likely to get bent over without a reach-around. C'mon back when the verdict is in....good times.

Wow, the two situations are nothing alike. Your all organization knew about this and some of the coaches were paying into the funds. "Which not only means it's breaking the Bounty rule, which the bounty rule by itself is subject to the following

2 first round picks

3.5 million team fine

suspensions and 250k fines for all involved"

It's also in violation of cap rules since the coaching staff took place in it and the GM knew about it. Which the league can further fine the Saints a couple of million dollars and another 2 first round picks.

The Saints are in serious trouble, I mean the fine they get is going to be the harshest fine in NFL history by far.

This news (and by extension this thread) has been wonderful for the Huddle. A break from arguing who we all want the Panthers to draft and how each other's picks are terrible and going to be busts and unites us all in hatred of a common foe :)

God bless the guy that snitched.
