Pro Day Notes

Missouri began the pro day circuit on March 1

About a dozen Missouri players participated, with the non-combine invitees hoping to get noticed. Offensive guard Austin Wuebbels (Triad High) did just that by posting 40 repetitions in the 225-pound bench press. (Anything in the 30s is considered good for a lineman.) He met with a Carolina Panthers scout at the end of the pro day.

Some overall pro day resources -

nfl pro day blog, Gil Brandt

walterfootball

Gil Brandt was a draft guru before Mayock was even born. For real, you know, for an actual NFL team.

Walterfootball looks to be a lot better organized than in years past.

For those with a TE fetish:

Egnew stood on his combine #s for the most part.

Adrien Robinson stood out at the Cincinatti pro day. Good numbers fwiw, first year 2011 starter. See above links for details. Non-invitee to the comibine.

Brandt started in 1960 and Mayock was born in 1958.

It's nothing against you, I just have this OCD for stats :(

I'm retired US Navy. I figure it's close enough for government work.

<- was born in 1960, so 'gil brant was a draft guru before I was even born'. There, OCD all better?

NFLNW is supposed to be covering prodays on Path to the Draft. All I got today was OMGZ! The Colts are going to release Peyton Manningzz!! for (about) 4 hours continuously. Missed any pro day reports if they even had them. It's like Favre unretired again.
