I've now seen one Memphis game. What I've learned is that Poe falls down a lot in part because his fellow d-linemen fall down a lot, and so do the terrible o-linemen he's playing against. Also, Poe is easliy tripped in general, his foot grazed an o-lineman on one play and came crahing down. On another play, the o-lineman was beaten and grabbed Poe's shoulder pad, spun him around, and back to the turf he went.

The impression I got was that Poe is decent against the run, and doesn't have much of a pass rush. He doesn't have that burst off the line combined with quick hand work and balance that I was hoping to see. I wanted him to look like Kris Jenkins, but he didn't. Also I don't think Poe even knows how to rush the QB to begin with because often times when Poe starts to get around a lineman, the lineman will give him a shove and he'll fall down completely. That should be happening to a DT with his size and athleticism.

I want the DT that's going to allow Beason and company to roam around untouched. I could give a damn about a pass rush from a DT. Most teams put their starting DE's inside at tackle, and put their DPR's at DE on 3rd downs anyway.
